We have become accustomed to having tomatoes and many other seasonal foods available through all seasons. Thats very convenient, but it has been proven over and over that only ,in season, fruit and veg have the full array of vitamins, minerals and most importantly the full fresh taste we crave. So if you struggle to eat enough fruit and veg cos the taste just isn’tright. Purchase fruit and veg when it is inseason and if you can afford to, buy organic. Or even better, grow your own and connect with nature and your food in a way that nourishes you soul.

Absolutely ! Thanks Starjimco, Yum tomatoes! I love growing my own food! Gardening can be a great way to get kids involved in healthy eating from a young age. My daughter picks tomatoes, basil, lemongrass and beans straight from the garden while she is playing in the backyard. Easy way to sneak in the right minerals and vitamins for exploring toddlers!
